the temporary space is pleased to announce the first exhibition project in a collaboration with PERSUASION. This is a series of collaborative exhibition projects focusing on visual and experimental engagement.

The Series #1 features three solo exhibitions.

"Am I Demon" by Francis Giampietro, Houston based artist. Giampietro explores notion of virility in contemporary framework.

Song of Myself by Michael Dee, Los Angeles based artist. Dee investigate visual dissonance and auditory cacophony engendered by the intentional juxtaposition of disparate narrative lines.

Night Tours by Domokos Benczedi, Houston based Artist. Benczedi present the futurization of dada techniques to suggest new human rituals amid alien landscapes.

The opening reception is scheduled between 8 pm - 10 pm on Friday, January 15th, 2010. Review and critique session will be scheduled to have further critical and engaging discussion. Please inquire the dates for the session.

+ Over 6 months period, local, national and international artists will be curated to show their work. In addition to the reception, discussion and critique/review sessions will be scheduled to have further understanding of the work and to investigate the role of critique and review.

Everyone is welcomed to join this session and is encouraged to submit own critique/review. The selected materials in submissions will be shared with regular audience and other collaborative participants.

The accumulation of these project will become the very core component of a compilation book that is expected to be published in June, 2010.
