the temporary space seeks engaging, responsible and creative individuals who are willing to live, create and manage the temporary space projects as an artist in residence.

The artist in residence program is expected to function as "6 months semi-artist in residence," that will be fundamentally run by residents' self-funding and will be very much self-educational and self-managing environment.

the temporary space aims to create and share critically engaging experiences such as contemporary art exhibitions, experimental music performances, critical visual critiques and publicly engaging projects. These projects will be made through collaborative efforts by residents and people from outside.

the temporary space is equipped with small resource library, audio/visual equipment and small work tools. The temporary space will run at least 6 months and will continue based on progress and the collaborators' agreements. Towards the end of 6 months period, a publication of these collaborative projects will be made into a form of small book.

the temporary space is furnished with basic needs, such as kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, bathroom, shower room, wifi-internet, electricity, central A/C and water. the temporary space is located in downtown, a few blocks away from Diverseworks, Fotofest and UH Downtown.

the available individual personal space is relatively small (14' x 11' and 13' x 7' ). However, shared space and semi work space attached to the personal space should give you cozy living. The rent includes basic needs described above. Responsible, considerate and engaging individuals are very welcomed.

Emerging writer, musician, video artist, performance artist, graphic designer, curator and other type of creative and critical people are highly welcomed.
