Marcus Civin (Irvine, California)
Marcus Civin is a text-and-prop-based performance artist from California. Civin received BA in theatre, speech & dance from Brown University in 1999 and MFA in studio art from University of California, Irvine in 2009. Civin has performed at galleries, museums and alternative spaces include; Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibits (LACE), Los Angeles (2010), Sea and Space Explorations, Los Angeles (2009), Am Nuden Da, London (2009), Compactspace, Los Angeles (2009), LA><ART, Los Angeles (2009), Tight Space, Santa Ana (2009), Ruffin Gallery, University of Virginia, Charlottesville (2009), BETALEVEL, Los Angeles (2008), among others.
Marcus Civin is a featured artist at the temporary space and will perform on Friday, April 30. Civin’s performance, American Rifle 3, at the temporary space is included to Low Live 2, web-based live streaming social project, which is curated and organized by Jorge Rojas, New York based-multidisciplinary artist.
